Another “tip” for your readers is to also make sure you keep the local directory listings with the same name and details as your Google place listing. The reason for this is sometimes Google will check directories like the Yellow Pages and if your business has the same name but a different address and phone number your listing will slide quite dramatically.

Thanks for a great example of how easy it is to setup Google Local Business listing. As I do more and more local search work, I am amazed at how few businesses have claimed their local listing with Google.
