“This experience has been the best reason to shift from full-time design staff to an outside firm. Your team has been timely, accurate and detail-oriented in every project we give them. Not only have they been there whenever we need them, but the work has been vital to our brand identity.”

Exotic Honeymoon – A Big Five Tours company
Big Five Tours and Expeditions, awarded World’s Best Award for Tour Operators and Safari Outfitters mostly recently in 2006 by Travel & Leisure magazine (they’ve been winning this category consistently since 1999), “helps dreams become reality and reality transcend expectation”. In addition to featuring special “tours of the month”, www.bigfive.com furnishes destination information and free flash postcards.
Our initial discovery process played an integral role in the designing, and ultimate development of a user-friendly gift registry, allowing travelers the option of having their friends/family donate to their trip, rather than presenting them with a gift.
The website design was created following the branding from the parent company’s website, www.bigfive.com; however its focus was more towards honeymooners and the journey.
THAT Agency’s development plan for Big Five’s Gift Registry website, included developing the website using PHP Programming. PHP was chosen as the script language of choice because it is a general purpose, yet powerful script language that generates dynamic web content.
Additionally, the gift registry website was built around a custom content management and eCommerce system.
With a website built on a search engine friendly framework, THAT Agency researched and implemented keyword search trends into Masonite.com using a combination of manual and dynamic optimization techniques. Post-launch, a link development plan was put into action to achieve the desired goal of top rankings for the most often searched, relevant and competitive terms in Masonite’s industry. THAT Agency created a custom content management and eCommerce system.
A custom content/order management system was created to allow administrators at Big Five to not only manage user’s gift registries, but also to manage and track contributions.
